the theme, “Partners for Progress: Perspective from the Academe, Industry, and
Government for Sustainable Solutions” on July 18-19, 2024 via Zoom video
conferencing.

We are pleased to inform you that your paper has been accepted for ORAL
PRESENTATION during the conference. Kindly register on or before July 10, 2024
through bit.ly/NPIRCRegistration to confirm your participation. No registration will mean
non-participation in the conference, thus your slot for the presentation will be canceled.

The conference materials and guidelines during the conference and for the presentation
are also attached in this document, for your reference. Should you have any questions,

WHAT TO OBSERVE DURING THE VIRTUAL CONFERENCE?

During the Plenary Session


1. Log in to the web conference at least fifteen (15) minutes before the conference proper. All
participants are encouraged to use their full name upon logging in. The registration
committee will not accept participants with the device’s name (e.g. Asus, iPhone).
2. Find a quiet place where you can stay all throughout the conference.
3. Mute your audio upon entering and during the speakers’ presentation. Turning on your
video is encouraged during the plenary session.
4. Upon entry, type your full name and affiliation in the chat box.
5. The conference will be recorded and will be broadcasted to the PUP Quezon City’s
Facebook page – PUP Quezon City Branch ‘Official’.
6. Participants are encouraged to use the official Zoom background. You may download them
here: https://bit.ly/NemPruBG2

During the Breakout Session


7. Each identified discipline (conference themes) will have its own Zoom link with respective
moderators.
8. Schedule of the presentation will be included in the program.
9. Presenters will be admitted in the assigned Zoom meeting fifteen (15) minutes before the
start of the breakout session. On the other hand, observers will be admitted in the assigned
Zoom meeting ten (10) minutes before the start of the breakout session.
10. Observers may use the chat area in Zoom to ask their questions during the breakout
session which will be facilitated by the assigned moderator during the Question and Answer.
11. Recording will be done only by the assigned moderators.
12. The participants are expected to accomplish the evaluation form after the breakout session

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTATION

1. Each paper presentation shall be given ten (10) minutes.


2. Presenters MUST use the presentation template provided by the organizing committee
(download here: https://bit.ly/NemesioPPT) with NOT more than fifteen (15) slides including:
a. Title with Author/s and co-author/s’ name, agency/ies, position, and funding agency
(if any)
b. Background and Objectives of the Study
c. Methods
d. Results and Discussion
e. Conclusions and Recommendations
f. Short list of References
3. After all the presentations, a 5-minute question and answer will follow.
4. Presenters must submit a recorded video of their presentation and a copy of PPT in case
technical problems arise on or before July 15, 2024.
