2024. “DIPMC WEB BASED INFORMATION SYSTEM”. Bachelor of Science
in Information Technology, Datu Ibrahim Paglas Memorial College, Poblacion, Datu
Paglas, Maguindanao del Sur, 9617.

Adviser: JEHANIE A. SUMAPAL, LPT

The purpose of this study is to develop a comprehensive web-based

information system for Datu Ibrahim Paglas Memorial College (DIPMC). The

system aims to provide easy access to institutional information including the

school’s Mission and Vision, Core Values, Board of Trustees, Administrators,

Faculty and Staff profiles, Program Offerings, and School Policies.

In pursuit of this goal, the development team will employ the Agile

Methodology as its Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring iterative

development. The front-end interface will be built using PHP, a versatile and widely

supported scripting language, while MySQL will serve as the backend database

management system, ensuring robust data storage and retrieval capabilities. Sublime

Text 4 has been selected as the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for its

efficiency and powerful features, facilitating coding and project management.

The system will be developed directly at Datu Ibrahim Paglas Memorial

College in Poblacion, Datu Paglas, Maguindanao del Sur. This location-based

approach ensures close collaboration with college staff and easy integration with

existing systems.

By implementing this web-based information system, DIPMC aims to

enhance transparency, accessibility, and efficiency in delivering institutional

information to its stakeholders, thereby supporting informed decision-making and

fostering a cohesive academic community.
