Material approval - Check material approval obtained (Block,
accessories, embedment’s, conduits, DPC
etc.)
- ITL Test Report submitted to the Consultant.
Mortar mix - Check mortar mix for block work as per
specification and mixed in mechanical mixer.
Incoming material - Cary out inspection of incoming material to
Inspection conform to the approved submittal.
- MIR for incoming material.

Storage and - Visually verify the storage and protection of

Protection blocks to be adequate
Preliminary - Check access permission ,equipment and
activities scaffolding permission
In process 1. Visually check damp proof course provided
Inspection below the first layer in Ground floor area.
2.Setting out and first layer of block works done as
per approved shop drawing & submit WIR for
inspection
3. Visual check for bond, thickness of mortar and
block
4. Visually check all sleeves, Embedment
openings, provision of block work accessories.
5. Check the plumb, level, number of layer in each
day work (within acceptable tolerance)
6. Check opening sizes for doors / windows &
services.
7. Curing of block works – 3 days and 7 days for
lintels and sills.
Final Inspection - Check workmanship and quality of the block
works.
