AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBER 10 SERIES OF 2019, ENTITLED

“ORGANIZATION OF THE CITY PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL (CPOC)”

WHEREAS, on July 1, 2019, the City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) was officially
organized through Local Executive Order No. 10 s. 2019;

WHEREAS, Department of the Interior and the Local Government (DILG) released
Memorandum Circular No. 2019-143 dated August 27, 2019 which amends the composition
of Local Peace and Order Councils;

WHEREAS, in view of the above-mentioned Memo, there is a need to amend the

membership of the City Peace and Order Council (CPOC);

NOW THEREFORE, I, KIRK A. ASIS, Mayor of the City of Bayugan, Agusan del Sur,
by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:

SECTION 1. Section 1 of EO No. 10 is hereby amended based on DILG

Memorandum Circular No. 2019-143, to read as follows:

SECTION 2. Duties and Functions. It shall be the primary duty and the function of
the CPOC to formulate plans and recommend such measures as will improve or enhance
peace and order and public safety in Bayugan City. It shall likewise perform such duties and
functions as mandated by the law or by applicable issuances made by the appropriate
authorities.

SECTION 3. Special Action Committees. There shall be created Special Action

Committees to address specific peace and order and public safety issues and concerns.

SECTION 4. POPS Plan Technical Working Group (TWG). The Peace and Order
and the Public Safety (POPS) Plan – Technical Working Group (TWG) shall be composed of
the following:

SECTION 6. Repealing Clause. All other existing orders or issuances inconsistent

with this Executive Order are hereby revoked and/or rescinded accordingly.

SECTION 7. Effectivity. This Order shall take effect immediately.
