same in each case, find the value of a.
9. For what value of a, ( x – 5 ) is a factor of x3 – 3x2 + ax – 10. 2
10. If the diagonals of a quadrilateral bisect each other, then prove that it is a parallelogram. 3
11. Factorise : 2x3 – 3x2 – 17 x + 30. 3
12. Show that diagonals of a square are equal and bisects each other at right angle. 4

- crossing X- shaped beams known as Truss.
ABCD is a quadrilateral P, Q, R and S are the mid points of AB, BC, CD and DA
respectively.
Refer to the following geometrical description
of the marked portion of the picture of the top
of Eiffel Tower and the properties of
quadrilaterals answer the following questions:
a. Show that SR = ½ AC 1
b. Show that PQ is parallel to SR. 2
c. Show that PQRS is a parallelogram. 1
