Ms. Jeanette reminded that each choir must identify two (2) titles of songs at the Viber GC. It is also
encouraged that hard copies of their music sheets be provided to Ms. Jeanette.
In addition, here are the assignment of songs for Choir Sunday Culminating Service:
Ms. Jeanette also requested to identify choir members that may serve as ushers for all services on 21
July. She noted that choir members may not serve as usher at their own service. 10 ushers are
requested for the 9:30 AM English Service while 4 are requested for the other services.
Choir Fellowship
Ms. Jeanette discussed the annual conduct of Choir Fellowship all members of the different choirs. The
group discussed of the possible schedule, with the members agreeing to have it after the 9:30 AM
service on 21 July at the Old Sanctuary.
The Youth Choir will facilitate 1 or 2 games for the fellowship. A breakout session shall be conducted
among the choirs, with their pastors as facilitators. During the breakout session, the members will have
a meditation with topic provided and after which each one will affirm their commitment to the choir
through a simple ceremony.
Choir Month Liturgists
Ms. Jeanette mentioned that for the month of July, members of the different choirs will serve as
liturgists to all services. She requested the Choir Presidents to identify three (3) of their choir members
to be liturgists and submit the names to the Messenger GC. Liturgists will be assigned from the pool of
identified choir members, with each choir member not to serve as liturgist in their respective service
(except on 21 July Choir Sunday).
Ms. Jeanette requested the Choir Presidents to identify the maximum number of their respective choir
members. The said figures are necessary for possible increase of food allowance and allocation of new
white choir gowns.
Ms. Jeanette also shared that the church will allocate funds for updating of the choir gown of one (1)
choir annually. The group agreed to draw lots as most choirs needed to update their gowns and to
provide a fair opportunity to be allocated with such. This is the result of the draw lots by the choir
representatives:
1. EY 2024-2025: Vesper
2. EY 2025-2026: Crusaders
3. EY 2026-2027: Youth
4. EY 2027-2028: Chancel
5. EY 2028-2029: Evangel
6. EY 2029-2030: Covenant
The assigned choir for gown updating must prepare a budget proposal for the Board of Deacons which
will cover the costs of the materials and labor for producing the choir gowns. The proposed budget is
estimated to be within PHP 2000 – 2500/head subject for approval by the Board of Deacons. Any costs
beyond the approved budget will be shouldered by the assigned choir.
Ms. Jeanette encouraged the CCC core group and the Choir officers to attend the choir concert series,
particularly the 29 June concert with the Prinsep Street Presbyterian Church Choir (Singapore). She also
encouraged those present in the meeting to invite fellow choir members and other guests to this
concert series. Mr. Zac informed the group that the Youth Choir will provide 16 of their members as
ushers for the 29 June concert. Details of their usher duties and guidelines will be discussed in a
separate meeting.
As mentioned in the previous meeting, having a uniform white choir gown for all choirs is being
considered for this year. As such, a small group may be formed to prepare the details such as the design
and budget which will be presented to the Board of Deacons and the Ministerial Team.
Choir Folders and Photocopy of Music Sheets
Mr. Ron mentioned the need of additional choir folders for the Crusaders Choir. Ms. Jeanette said that
this will be mentioned to the GC and additional folders may be provided. She also mentioned that
