A youthful greeting of peace and solidarity!
We are writing this letter to invite you as one of the panelists in the conduct of the annual
Young Women’s Congress at Biñan Secondary School of Applied Academics on March 14,
2024, 9:00 am to 12:00 noon in celebration of the National Women’s Month.
The Young Women's Congress (Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng
Kababaihan, Patunayan!) aims to empower young women in the city by giving them a platform to
share their ideas and concerns. When young women take part in making decisions, it leads to better
solutions that help more people. According to a report by the World Economic Forum, when women
are involved in politics, it helps make the world more peaceful. This shows how young women's voices
can make society fairer and more peaceful, which is why we need a platform like the Young Women's
Congress.
The details of your speakership are as follows:
Proposed Topic Women in leadership and governance

Background This session should provide how can women take active participation in
governance and leadership. The speaker may share her personal
experience in being one of the youngest women legislators in the city and
in the province.
