1. Is there cersai mandatory for agriculture loans like kcc in which agriculture land is mortgaged
Please refer to AGRICULTURE DIVISION CIRCULAR NO. 04-2024 all mortgages (irrespective of the
mortgage creation date) must be registered with CERSAI, wherever applicable. CERSAI registration
mandatory on those loans and property which are eligible for action under SARFAESI act.

In case of borrower was availing credit facilities from another Bank within the period of three months
prior to submitting loan proposal to our Bank, such credit proposal shall be treated as Deemed
takeover. Takeover norms would apply on Deemed takeover also. However, in case where such credit
facility has been repaid by the applicant borrower as per the terms conditions of the original sanction,
such creditproposals shall not fall under the purview of Deemed Takeover. (In case of Revolving
Credit Facility, the date of expiry of last sanction as availed from other bank shall be treated as date of
maturity

The borrower shall have satisfactory track record of at least two years (existing accounts should be in
Standard SMA-0 category).KCC borrowers or borrowers availing loans for agricultureallied activites

Kisan Tatkal Rin.

infrastructure, power projects, real estate projects and for NBFCs, moratorium may be allowed for
longer period upto 5 years, depending upon the cash flows of projects company. However, HOCAC-III
and above may permit moratorium beyond the above prescribed period on merits of the case.

01.07.2022. The debit cards issued in such accounts prior to 01.07.2022 will continue to be free.

procedures as per their risk category as and when any transaction comes up and it is sought to be
transferred. Operation in such accounts may be allowed after due diligence as per risk category of the
customer. Due diligence would mean ensuring genuineness of the transaction, verification of the
signature and identity etc. However, it has to be ensured that the customer is not inconvenienced as a
result of extra care taken by the bank. Further, as per KYC Section (Operations Division) Circular no
08/2023, Compliance of KYC Policy, for individual customers it is mentioned in Annexure-II “You may
submit a self-certification in case there is no change in your KYC information to the Base branch,
provided KYC documents as per extant KYC guidelines are available with the branch. In case it is not
possible to visit the branch, self-certified copy of KYC documents or self-certification as above, may be
