professional students to undertake
practical training in order to supplement
their theoretical knowledge.

• Such training can be acquired in reputed

organizations during the academic career
itself.
The requisition letter to undergo this
training should therefore contain the
following :

1. Self – introduction
2. Purpose/ Interest
3. Duration (no of days and dates)
4. Undertaking
5. Conclusion
Example :

I am a pre-final year student of the Automobile branch of PQR
Institute of Engineering, Madhapur, with keen interest in Internal
Combustion engines. I have chosen this area for my project work.
Hence, I would like to undergo practical training in the Multi-
point fuel injection and Common direct rail injection engines,
which are the thrust areas of the Indian automobile industry today,
in your organization. This training will equip me with hands-on
experience to supplement my theoretical knowledge.
 I request you to permit me to undergo the
training for a period of 10 days from the 15th of
Sept.2011 to 24th Sept. 2011.

During the period of training, I undertake to
