ESSAY ON CYBER-BULLYING
What is cyberbullying?
Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place over digital devices like cell
phones, computers, and tablets. Cyberbullying can occur through SMS,
Text, and apps, or online in social media, forums, or gaming where
people can view, participate in, or share content. Cyberbullying
includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean
content about someone else. It can include sharing personal or private
information about someone else causing embarrassment or humiliation.
Some cyberbullying crosses the line into unlawful or criminal behavior.
Do not blame yourself – It is not your fault, you should not let the
cyberbully make you feel ashamed
Block the bully- by doing so you will able to cut contact with
him/her.Responding to a cyberbully only worsens the situation.
Share/report- take screenshots of the cyber-abusement and send it
to respective authorities. For India, one can contact the cyber-
police. But ones priority should be to share it with ones parents
who can make the call.
