But we have not explored the way any school or school staff will apply this rationale to rebuild its curriculum and instructional program. How can it be applied?

Atoms: The smallest unit of matter Molecules: Groups of atoms bonded together.
Hook/ engagement Begin with a story about a snowman that turns
into water and then steam, highlighting the changes between solid, liquid, and gas. (5min)
Carpet activity Treasure Bags: Each bag contains items
representing different states of matter. Students feel the items without looking and guess the state of matter, explaining why (7min)
Visual explanation Show an educational video that visually
explains the properties of solids, liquids, and gases, followed by a catchy song that reinforces the states of matter. ( 7 min)
grouping Students are divided into groups of 3. Each
group rotates through activity stations, ensuring active participation and collaboration
Inquiry (Rotational activity) Each table has different activities. (15min)
Station 1: Categorize objects into solid, liquid, or gas. Station 2: Draw molecules in different states. Station 3: Discuss and draw how matter changes between states.
