Current title and job profile: Data Network Engineer; IT Operations and Support DepartmentVodafone Egypt. Responsibilty in VFE:

Design and implementation of cabling infrastructure systems. Track industry changes to improve data network quality.

 Ensure proper data Infrastructure projects and delivery within planned time frames. Design document preparation. Regular health checks to systems on hand. Manage team of IT infrastructure technicians. Assist in managing and planning of data network strategy. This includes developing new data network solutions and technologies. Solving trouble tickets assigned by the 1st line (Remedy software).

While I am working in VFE, I have been assigned with different tasks in various locations, depicted below: Implementation and operation of Vodafone Egypt IT LAN/WAN network as per the requested SLA (Service Level Agreement) with the highest customer satisfaction. installing the network for new 50 vodafone store and connecting it to the HQ through VPN IPSEC connection. Installing Development network in smart village and connecting it to HQ through L2TP. Designing and installing Data and Voice network of Vodafone germany call center and connecting it to Germany through the ON network. Install new Vodafone Data Center and connecting it to the BB. Knowledge with Cisco switches ( 2950 , 2960, 3550 , 3750X , 6500 , nexus ) Knowledge with Cisco routers ( 2811 , 2911 , 7200 , 7600 ) Knowledge with Cisco firewall ( ASA ) Knowledge with Cisco communication manager. Monitoring VFE network by using Orion network management system and MRTG. Knowledge with OSPF , EIGRP , STP , BGP , RIP , HSRP, ether channel, ISL trunking , L2TP , VPN IPSEC , frame relay , ATM , VSS , ACE . Drawing all the network of Vodafone Egypt by using Visio .
