Viswanathan Anand is the world famous Indian chess grandmaster People call lightning kid of India He was born on December 11,1969 ,Chennai ,Tamil -Nadu
,India Anand completed his bachelor of commerce degree from Layla collage , Chennai He learned to play chess from his mother when he was 6 years old, By
the time he was 14 years old, Anand had won the Indian National sub-junior champions At the age of 15, he became the youngest Indian to win the International
master title .At the age of 17 ,Anand became the youngest first Asian to win a world chess championship in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2012. He is the first Indian to
win the FIDE WORLD CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP in 2000 and 2007. He acquired the NO 1 Ranking in FIDE in 2007 six times in 1997, 1998, 2003, 2004,
2007 and 2008. He received ARJUN AWARD, PADMA SHRI, RAJIV GANDHI KHEL RATNA AWARD and PADMA VIBHUSHAN by the Indian
Government.
