In the rat race we live in, being able to travel as quickly
as possible is very important. Planes have and continue to
play a major role in the matter given the fact that they limit distances considerably. In my opinion, the aviation industry played a tremendous role in the progress of transportation and in our lives overall and I hold this belief for several reasons I will furthermore explain throughout my writing.
First of all, planes limit distances and make the world
seems like a small country. Nowadays, it is very easy to have breakfast in New York, have a meeting in Paris and dine in Rome. All you have to do is take a plane and be on time. Manyfold infrastructures were built recently to assure constant travel towards a multitude of destinations that were unimaginable before. We can add that numerous teams of engineers are working around the world to unlock more efficacity and assure more reliability rate in engines.
Secondly, the aviation sector is one of the most
important in terms of profitability. The aviation industry makes enormous profits and gains and counts as one of the most fructuous economic activities of modern times. Its impact is really this big and as a matter of fact, its size can be clearly visualized in crises and great recessions. Millions of workers can be licensed during those painful periods and thus, enhance the unemployment rate.
Last but not least, planes have an impactful role in
globalization. It is undeniable that having constantly millions of travelers around the world going from place to place, thus visiting new countries, discovering new customs and traditions, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people helps the mundialization process. As a matter of fact, the importance of planes doesn’t reside only in the transportation itself, but in the role it plays in creating melting pots, gathering people from different backgrounds in the same location and creating as well a more tolerant and accepting environment.
All in all, airplanes have helped humanity so much by
shortening distances, made the world a more unified one and of course creating job opportunities for millions of people around the world.
