1-2 REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1-2-1 OPERATION BEFORE REMOVAL
1. Set the ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect the negative (() terminal of the battery.
CAUTION
• When the negative (() terminal of the battery is removed, the memories of some systems will be erased.
Therefore, record the contents of the memory of each system, as required, and input them after the
operation.

1-2-3 POINTS OF REMOVAL
(1) FUSIBLE LINK COVER
1. Remove the battery (+) terminal.
2. With a flat screwdriver inserted into the position indicated
in the right figure, release the fitting of the claw by prying it
off.

(2) FUSIBLE LINK TERMINAL

1. To remove the fusible link terminal, insert a flat screwdriver
into position of the fusible link block assembly, as indicated
in the right figure and push it towards the underside of the
vehicle.

1-2-4 OPERATION AFTER INSTALLATION

1. Install the negative (() terminal of the battery.
