INNOVATION RESEARCH FAIR, 2024.

The University Innovation/Invention and Patenting Committee through the Office of Research,
Grant, and Linkages (ORGL) of Adeleke University, wishes to announce her maiden call for
Undergraduate Research Fair, 2024 with the theme “Impacting the Community”. Interested
applicants from the student community are invited to submit their applications online and
contact their faculty ORGL Innovation Committee representative for further clarifications. The
schedule of the event are as follows:

Application Opening Date: February 22, 2024.

Submission Deadline: April 18, 2024.
Faculty pitch Dates: April 22 - 26, 2024.
Final Pitch Date: May 2, 2024.

How to Participate
• Form a team: Choose people who you know can think and gather the thoughts together
on a paper.
• Select a challenge: Choose any area of interest: technology, health, energy, Agriculture,
food, creative writing, engineering, environment, etc.
• Develop the solution: Work to develop the innovative idea that is written on the paper.
• Present your innovation: prepare to showcase the product during the presentation
session.

Criteria for application

Must be a registered student of Adeleke University.
Must have a valid matriculation number and student’s identity card.
Must have original and novel product or process.

Cash Prizes:
First prize: ₦100,000
Second prize: ₦60,000
Third prize: ₦50,000
