Wellcome!!
Suggestions before starting

·Make sure that the crocheting is tense so that the filling is not visible. For that it´s better to
work with a hook of 1 or 2 points less the size it´s used to crochet. the amigurumi technique
requires tension.
·Stuff with polyester filling until it´s firm, though the crochet is tense at the beggining, it will yeld
·The yarn thickness will change noticeably the size of your toys
·Remember that there are 3 factors that modify your crochet (size, tension, etc):
*the hook size
*the yarn tickness
*the crocheter´s hand (every person crochets with diferent tension)

Pattern
Materials:
Hook size 2.5mm and 3.5mm
Tapestry needle
100grs of medium cotton yarn pink, skin and
white.
50grs of extra light cotton yarn brown and white.
Small amount of light cotton yarn black.
Scissors.
Polyester fiberfill stuffing.

Abbreviatios:
sl: slip stitch
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
inc: 2 single crochet stitches in the same stitch
dec: 2 single crochet stitches together
ch: chain
FLO: front loop only
BLO: back loop only

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The most important thing in this type of security blanket is the hook change when you crochet
the body. If you crochet the whole blanket with the same hook the crochet will be stiff, with the
tension you need when it has fiberfill stuffing (feet, arms, head). The body must be soft, with the
crochet open.

1°round: 6 sc in a magic ring (6)

2°round: 6 inc (12)

3°round: 1 sc, 1 inc (18)

4° to 6°: 18 sc (3 rounds) (18)

10°round: hold the edge flat and close it with 6 sc.

11°round: sc around the 6 front loops and sc around the

6 back loops (you´ll have 12 sc again), move the marker.

Terminations

Pacifier Nose

Sew the pacifier on the middle, Embroider a small loop in skin color in
between the rounds 7 and 12. the center of round 13, by taking 2 sc,
pass the needle 5 - 6 times.

Eyes
embroider the eyes closed between rounds 14 and 15, making them 5 stitches wide.
Between both eyes there is 6 sc of separation.

Details
On the loops that remain, make 1 sl, 1 ch.

Hair
With extra light cotton yarn
and hook size 2mm

Start with a chain of 21 stitches and 20 sc

on the chain. On each sc: 20 ch and 1 sl in
the next sc.

Sew the hair to the top center of the head.

 Collar
On the round 50 mark the half of front and back sides with pins, the 7° st from the 15
stitches of each sides (see photos)

Star crocheting from the back: (3 ch, 1 dc) in 1 st, 2 dc in each st til the 13° st. In the 14°
st make (1 dc, 1 hdc). In the 15° st, 1 sl. In the 16° st (1 hdc, 1 dc). Continue with 2 dc in
each st, close with sl.

Neck Ornament
With extra light pink yarn and
hook size 2.5mm

1°round: 24 ch

2°round: start crocheting on the 4° ch, 1 dc,

2 dc in each of the next stitch, 1 sl on the
beggining of the chain.

3°vuelta: BLO: (3 sl, 2 ch) the whole round.

The ears ornament and the neck ornament

are placed on their respective spots before
the sewing of the ears to the head and the
head to body.

Tail

Place stuffing and leace a long loop.

 Nose
Embroider an inverted triangle between the rounds 9 and 11 of the head.

Eyes
With a long loop, introduce a needle inside the head from below and take it out on the
place where you´re going to put the eyes, in the round 11. Place the needle again, 1 st
next and take it out from below. Grab the two pairs of yarn and pull down to give shape to
the eye holes. Once you reach the look you want hide the yarn inside.

In both eyes there´s 1 sc of separation with the nose.

Place the neck ornament and sew the head to the body.
