1. The pupils will be able to acquire the ability to listen and understand the lesson.
2. The pupils will be able to develop the habit of reading for information and pleasure; draw
inferences and relate texts to previous knowledge; read critically and develop the
confidence to ask and answer questions.
3. The pupils will be able to use language creatively and imaginatively in text transaction and
performance of activities.
4. The pupils will be able to analyze the lesson and critically think about the message and
develop their own point of view on existing social issues.
5. Students will be able to read textual materials with interest and comprehension; by
skimming and scanning of texts and using other sub-skills of reading.

a. Topic of the lesson for presentation by the students (Once in a week by rearranging classroom
setting suitable for group work):
The Class will be divided into 07 Groups. Each group will prepare and present Articles on the Topic – The
plight of street children forced in child labour – early in life.

1. Activity No. 1-Students will collect data of Illegal migration to India from neighboring countries from
News Papers and different websites. Suggested websites are- Ministry of External affairs, Govt. of India;
Ministry of Home affairs, Govt. of India.
2. Activity No. 2- The students will perform Role play- One student will act as Author and the other one as
Saheb- One student will act as Author and the other one as Mukesh
05 Interdisciplinary linkage and infusion of Life Skills, Values, Gender Sensitivity and Environmental
Awareness:
1. The feeling of empathy will be inculcated among learners for poor people since they will learn
about the adversities children face in their life.
2. Love, affection and care for the needy and down trodden people of the society will be developed
among students.
3. Awareness about Environment- Pollution caused by bangle industry – Students will be able to
understand the hazards and havoc caused by bangle industry to our environment and they will
explore different measures to solve it.

3. PDF for textual questions & answers will be in the BROADCAST GROUP soas the absentees and

to help the supportive learners.
