TASK – MY CAREER ROADMAP

Course: MAT ENGLISH

I started my teaching career as a Grade 2 teacher at Shecaniah Learning Center Incorporated in Marikina City year 2019, after I
finished my Bachelor’s degree at URS Tanay. The same year I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers and resigned in private
school due to lockdown caused by COVID 19 pandemic.
In 2020, I applied in DepEd and while waiting for the item, I plan to start my Graduate study. Unfortunately, I got pregnant with
my son, so I change priorities.
Luckily, in 2021 I got hired at Sto Nino Integrated School as Teacher I and that is the start of my teaching career in Department of
Education.
Year 2022, when I decided to pursue my Master’s at URS Pililla. Despite the difficulties because of work, baby sitting my son,
financial problems, and other problems fortunately, I survive my one year in Graduate School and plan to continue my studies.
Year 2023, I unexpectedly got pregnant with my daughter and because my pregnancy is sensitive and our house is far from the
school, I decided to quit my studies and focused on teaching and taking care of my son and my soon to be born child.
Year 2024, four months after I gave birth to a baby girl, I decided to continue my study and of course continue teaching. I can say
that this is more difficult than before since I have two children to baby sit. I have work from Monday to Friday then must attend my class
during weekends. That’s why I ‘m sorry Sir for having absences during our Classical Literature class.
Year 2025, if God’s will, I will finish my master’s degree and I’m planning to start my PhD while waiting for graduation.
Year 2026, I will attend my graduation rites with my family. I will prepare my documents and apply for Teacher III position.
In 2027, I see myself still teaching at SNIS, my promotion still on the process, and of course continuing my PhD journey.

In the year 2028, I’ll pray that I will finish my Doctorate’s degree. I also got promoted to Teacher III and plan to get a passport
and US Visa.
In 2029, I see myself and my family in plane going to America to start a new life there and fulfill my husband’s dream to go
abroad since this dream never happened because we got married and in their religion a man should stay with his family to avoid
temptation that can cause marital problems.
Year 2030- 2031, I can see myself and my family having a good life in America. We already have our own house and lot there. I
already teaching in one of the public school, my children are studying, and my husband is also working in restaurant or hotel there. And
if this happened, I would never forget to help my family here in the Philippines.
And if ever we change our mind about going abroad, in 2029 onwards, I see myself and plan to be promoted as Master Teacher I
or II, or even try to take the exam for Head Teacher or Principal and became the Head of Sto Nino Integrated School.
