Session Title: “Respect All, Fear None”
Session At the end of the session, learners will be able to:
Objectives: a) understand gratitude and recognize emotions requiring
respectful responses and actions;
b) able to give an example or situation that they feel gratitude
c) actively engage in respect-building activities, reflecting on
personal experiences.
Key Concepts: Gratitude begins with recognizing the positive aspects of life,
including blessings, opportunities, kindness from others, and
moments of joy or beauty.
Gratitude involves genuinely valuing and appreciating the good
things in one's life, understanding their significance, and not
taking them for granted.
Cultivating gratitude often involves being mindful of one's
experiences and focusing on the present moment, allowing
individuals to notice and appreciate the positive aspects of
their lives.
Gratitude can shift one's perspective from focusing solely on
problems or difficulties to also acknowledging and appreciating
the blessings and positive aspects of life.
Gratitude often leads to a desire to reciprocate kindness and
generosity, fostering positive social connections and
relationships.

Show a PowerPoint presentation showing the
characteristics of gratitude situations.
Prompt learners and discuss character feelings
C. Valuing 20 mins and real-life connections.
Explore the role of gratitude in understanding
others and its application in daily interactions.
Ask this reflective questions: “How you show your
gratitude? Have you ever experience being
grateful?”
Activity: Expressing Respect: Our Journey
Materials: Journals, writing tools, coloring materials,
cellphones for digital entries, bond paper.
Explain the task: Group Sharing
The teacher will group the class into three and
each group create a scenario that showing
Journal Writing 15 mins gratitude.
Allow time to write, draw, or record thoughts.
Sharing Option: Offer learners the chance to share
reflections.
Conclude by emphasizing the critical role of
understanding and practicing gratitude for positive
social interactions and relationships.
