Oath of Ethical Conduct and Commitment to Respect and Integrity

I_________________ as a dedicated police officer, solemnly swear to uphold the highest standards of
integrity, professionalism, and respect for human rights in all aspects of my duties Recognizing the
responsibility bestowed upon me to guide and support my junior colleagues, I make the following
solemn commitments:

I will treat every individual, especially junior officers, with respect and dignity. recognizing the inherent
value of every human life and the importance of fostering a supportive and respectful work
environment.

I will strictly adhere to the rule of law in all my actions, rejecting any form of hazing or torture as illegal,
unethical, and unacceptable under any circumstances.

I will not engage in, condone, or tolerate any form of hazing, torture, or cruel, inhuman, or degrading
treatment towards junior officers. I will actively oppose such practices whenever and wherever they
occur.

I will act as a mentor and guide to junior officers, fostering their professional development through
positive and constructive means, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.

I will promote transparency in my actions and hold myself and my colleagues accountable for any
misconduct. I will report any incidents of hazing or torture through the proper channels without fear of
retribution.

I will uphold the highest standards of professional integrity, ensuring that my conduct fosters public trust
and confidence in law enforcement.

I will engage in continuous education and training to better understand and uphold human rights in my
policing practices, and I will encourage junior officers to do the same.

I will support and protect junior officers who are victims or whistleblowers of hazing and torture,
ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and support.

By taking this oath, I pledge to be a role model of justice, respect, and integrity for my junior colleagues. I
understand that my commitment to these principles is essential to the integrity and effectiveness of law
enforcement and the trust of the community we serve.

I vow to uphold this oath with unwavering dedication and resolve.
