I. Create your own rotating disc

Things needed:
• A square-shaped thick cardboard (about 8cm to 10cm from sides)
• A used pencil (about 6cm long)
• A pair of scissors

Steps to do:
• Take a square cardboard and cut it into a
circular shape, with the help of an adult.
• Mark the centre of the circle and make a hole
using the scissors.
• Insert the pencil tightly through this hole.
• Your disc is ready. Now spin it like a top.

II. Mandala Leaf Art

Step 1: Collect different types of leaves: Place the leaves between the pages
of a book for 1-2 weeks.

Step 2: Decorate the leaves: Use a bright colour marker to decorate the
leaves. You can draw the mandala pattern on it. Mandalas are repetitive
designs in a circular shape.

Step 3: Preserve your leaves: Once the leaves are decorated, spread the
leaves out onto wax paper, then brush Mod Podge onto one side. Let dry,
then turn the leaves over and apply a coat to the backs of the leaves.

Step 4: Press leaves after drawing.

Step 5: Once your leaves are decorated and preserved, use tape or mounting
putty to arrange your mandala leaf art.
