Web Developer (Remote)

Lorman is seeking a talented and dedicated web developer to join our web development team
either remotely or in our Eau Claire, WI office.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for front and back-end development of lorman.com,
affiliated websites, internal applications, and email marketing. We are looking to continually
provide our customers with new features, enhance our marketing, and improve our training
products.

Skills and experience you should have:

 Strong experience with PHP or a similar scripting language

 Ability to hand code solid responsive HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (jQuery)
 Design, optimize, & query databases effectively & efficiently. Familiarity with MySQL a
plus
 Desire to work directly with users to identify & develop requirements
 Possess a genuine interest in consumer-focused website & web application
development
 Provide expertise to other teams in areas of web development including best practices,
site design, usability, and search engine optimization
 Portfolio of your work

Helpful to have:

 Experience with design, layout, usability, SEO, Apache, email design & deliverability,
version control, analytics, A/B testing tools
