Safety Induction training for all MPC Contractor employees shall be done as per below

guidelines.

New Contractor Employees

1) 1-day Safety Induction training shall be given by contractor (by MPC Authorized
contractor Safety representative) to their employees (Safety Induction material
will be provided by MPC).
2) The training will be followed by exam which shall be passed. If an employee
fails to pass the exam, he/she will be given 2 more chances. The exam will be
conducted at MPC Training Center by HSE Department, available in 4 languages
(English, Arabic, Hindi & Urdu). If the employee failed to pass the exam, he/she
will not be allowed to get MPC ID.
Exam will be conducted every Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday from 02:30 PM –
03:30 PM and every Monday & Wednesday from 07:30 AM – 08:30 AM.
3) Followed by 2 hours site specific induction* in the assigned plant with
recommendation of the area owner to proceed for MPC ID.

*Site Specific Induction

End user department shall guide all attendees at the worksite and physically
visit the assigned plant / Department for (not limited to):
 Plant / Dept familiarization (Plant Layout, process details, products)
 Location for Safe Assembly area, Emergency Eye Wash/shower,
Smoking area etc.
 Plant Entry procedure (Entry log-sheet location)
 SDS availability on site & list of chemicals in use.
 Area hazards & precautions and required PPE as job/area requirements.

The above information shall be communicated to all contractors belonging to MPC and
shall be considered in any new scope of work been floated.
