14. Rationale of the course: This course focuses on training students with a broad understanding
of environmental issues and their probable solutions. The course will include basic concepts
of environment at various details limiting to the requirement at the undergraduate level.

● Students will be able to define the environment and its components.

● Students will be able to describe available natural resources in Bangladesh as well as


their prospects and environmental problems.
● Students will develop positive attitudes towards the environment and
sustainability.

3) Make-up procedures: Discouraged. No makeup can be arranged if any student fails to attend this
component. However, if there are any serious health issues that need overnight stay in the hospital, in that
