Activity 5:

TOPIC: Six Trigonometric Functions

TITLE OF THE GAME: Survival

MATERIALS:

- Avatar with 100 points life-span

- A pair of die

- Pen and paper

- Powerpoint presentation

MECHANICS:

1. Learners will be group into four groups with the same number of members
2. Each group will choose one avatar (Mobile Legend Heroes) and they will post it on the board.
3. Each group will be given a pen and paper where they will write their answer.
4. As the game started, the teacher will ask one of the learners to choose number from 1-10 as
their challenge in the game.
5. When the student already picked a number, the questions accompanied to the number will be
reveal in powerpoint presentation.
6. The teacher will give only 30 seconds to answer the question revealed.
7. When the time ends, each group will post their answer below their avatar on the board.
8. The group with the correct answers will throw a pair of die to be their attacks on the group who
have incorrect answer. (Note one die will be multiplied to another die as its attack points).
9. The attack points will be deducted to 100 points life-span of each avatar with incorrect answer.
10. The process will continue until one avatar left alive.
11. The winner of the game will receive points that can be used to redeem in their exam. (The
redeemable points of the winner will be based on the results of throwing a die)

Questions:

2. In a right triangle, if one of the base angles’ measures 52°, then the other acute angle measures?
3. Using the figure on the below, if the length of side 𝑐=16, what is the length of side 𝑎 using the
trigonometric ratio with 30° as reference angle?
4. A square plant box has a diagonal of 20 inches. What is the length of each side?
5. What is the value of secant function of this given figure below?

6. What should be the value of tangent of the given figure below?

7. With respect to trigonometric ratios of the given angle, what is the ratio of the opposite to the
adjacent side?
