Submerged Plants
Submerged or submersed plants are usually, but not always, rooted to the bottom, and
the majority of their vegetation is submerged. These plants' leaves are thin and narrow.
Hydrillas (Hydrilla verticillate) and Vallisneria (Vallisneria spiralis)are examples of
submerged plants.
