Oil Filter (Steering) - Replace

SMCS - 5068-510-ZH

Park the machine on level ground and engage the parking brake. Stop the engine.

1. Push the button on the breaker relief valve. The breaker relief valve is located on top of the
steering hydraulic tank.

2. Slowly, loosen the filler cap on the steering hydraulic tank in order to relieve the pressure.

Hot oil and hot components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot
oil or hot components to contact the skin.

3. Remove the filter and the O-ring seal.

4. Clean the filter base.

5. Install a new O-ring seal and a clean new filter.

6. Start the engine and operate the engine for a few minutes. Check for leaks and make any
necessary repairs. Install the filler cap.

7. Check the oil level. Maintain the oil level to the "FULL WARM" mark in the sight gauge.

8. Stop the engine. If necessary, add oil.
