DOCUMENT CHECLIST FOR VISA / RP

1. Passport Copy (Front and Back for Passport holders that have information on the back side
of the passport)
2. TRP or Visa in the country your are applying from (If you are not applying from the country in
which you hold your passport)

Documents from the university

3. Signed Study Contract (Signed by student in blue ink)
4. Acceptance letter
5. AIC decision
6. Invitation number confirmation email form the admission manager or university (PDF print
out of the email AND NOT SCREENSHOT)
7. Visa support file (Izzina document)

Documents the applicant has to prepare

8. CV to highlight studies and work experience if the applicant has study gap
9. Work experience letters for the study gap with the same dates as the CV mentioned in them
10. Accommodation confirmation document (If you do not have any, you will be able to get
one from us starting from 100 EUR)
11. Payment confirmation slip (SWIFT COPY) from the bank from which the student has
made the tuition fee and deposit transfer. The Tuition fee and deposit MUST BE PAID from
the student’s own account or Official sponsor (FATHER OR MOTHER).
11.1 If the payment was made from an account that belong to someone else who is not
your father or mother, an explanation letter as to why this person made the payment must
be provided ALONG WITH A RELATIONSHIP ATTESTATION
11.2 If the payment was made from an account that belongs to your parents, a
relationship certificate must be provided along with the OFFICIAL LETTER OF
SPONSORHSIP
12. Police Clearance certificate (PCC) or Criminal Record Extract (MUST BE LEGALIZED)
13. Apostiled copies of Educational documents.

14. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE DOCUMENT
14.1 Name of the university and WHY this university
14.2 Name of the course and WHY this course
14.3 Why Latvia for higher education and NOT your own country
14.4 Previous educational background and HOW it links to the current chosen program
14.5 Future Career you expect to have with the help of this program
15. Insurance for one year (Can be from an international company or Latvian company)
16. Flight ticket to Latvia (Can be a dummy ticket)
17. Bank Statement
17.1 Bank Statement MUST be in student’s own name
17.2 It MUST have PASSPORT NUMBER and DATE OF BIRTH of the student. In case
your Bank does not put this information on the official bank statement, you can ask for a second
document attesting that the bank account holder is the same person as you whose DOB and
Passport number can be mentioned in this second document
17.3 It MUST have the currency in EUROS according to the conversion rate on that
particular date
17.4 It MUST have at least 8400 EUR (9000 EUR Recommended)
17.5 Submit Net worth certificate of your official sponsor with any and all land, gold and
other assets they possess
17.6 Submit at least 3 months of bank statement with the end date having the 8000 EUR
(DO NOT HAVE LARGE AMOUNTS TRANSFERRED INTO YOUR ACCOUNT TO SHOW
BANK BALANCE AS THIS WILL BE REFLECTED IN THE 3 MONTHS BANK STATEMENT
YOUR PROVIDE)
18. Filled Visa application form or Residence permit application form
18.1 Visa application form needs to be filled by applicants from countries that only require
Long stay D type Visa to enter Latvia
18.2 Residence Permit forms must be filled by applicants who are required to apply for a
TRP first before the Visa. Residence Permit form must be filled and sent to +37124337713
before you get the confirmation that you can submit this document at the embassy. The
template for the form can be found here and an example of a filled form is given here.
19. For countries that require Hello verification, Income Tax Returns (ITR) for the previous 3
years should be submitted with any confirmation document from Hello verification.

NOTE: For Applicants from Cameroon: 3 legalizations have to be made

1. AT the Ministry of foreign Affairs in Cameroon

2. AT the Cameroon embassy in Egypt
3. AT the Latvian Embassy in Egypt (This is combined with the document submission for
Residence Permit)
