What I have learned about the subject Principles and Practice of


Management this semester is a wide range of concepts, principles, and abilities that
are needed for effective management. Here are some significant areas that I have
investigated and learned about; Understanding of Management Principles,
Knowledge of Management Functions, Skill Development, Ability to Analyse and
Solve Problems, and Leadership Skills.

I gain a solid foundation in management ideas, theories, and practises by


studying Principles and Practice of Management subject. I obtain the information
and abilities required to successfully lead and manage individuals, teams, and
organisations.

Students can learn a lot from the Principles and Practice of Management
subject. Here are some significant findings from my studies in this subject;

 Understanding of Management Principles: Students will obtain a thorough


grasp of the essential ideas that support effective management. They will
discover how to use these principles in a variety of managerial contexts and
challenges.
 Knowledge of Management Functions: Students will get an understanding of
the four fundamental functions of management: planning, organising,
leading, and controlling. They will comprehend how these functions interact
to attain organisational objectives.
 Skill Development: Students will learn a variety of abilities necessary for
effective management, such as strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-
solving, communication, leadership, and teamwork.

vision, motivate others, and foster a pleasant and productive work
environment whether I am heading a small team or an entire organisation.
 Decision-Making: The capacity to make educated decisions will be critical in
my future endeavours. I will be able to make sound judgements that match
with organisational aims and objectives by analysing information, assessing
options, and considering potential outcomes.
 Strategic Thinking: Understanding strategic management will enable me to
think critically and strategically about the future of organisations. I'll be able to

and resources.
