COURSE OVERVIEW
This course supports exploration in careers related to the design, development, support, and management
of hardware, software, multimedia, and systems integration services. Students will acquire knowledge and
skills enabling them to succeed in a technology-driven society and career pathway. The development of
web-based applications requires knowledge about the underlying technology and the formats and
standards the web is based upon. In this course you will learn about the HTTP communication protocol,
the mark up languages HTML, ASP.net, ADO.net, AJAX, XML standards for formatting and
transforming web content, interactive graphics and multimedia content on the web, server-side
programming using Jsp and Servlet.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

1. To understands the principles and techniques necessary for building and evaluating web sites.
2. To analyze the concept of websites building tools and languages, basics of HTML (text, fonts, colors,
images, lists, tables, frames, forms),
3. To develop the knowledge & skill in Advanced web Technology.
4. Students will understand the know how and can function either as an entrepreneur or can take up jobs in the
multimedia and Web site development studio and other information technology sectors.
