With the reference above mentioned, I hereby apply for a Pond Worker position as advertised on Go
Zambia Jobs website by the Organization. The requirements closely match my experience, skills and
educational background, I hereby enclosed my Curriculum to provide information on my skills and
qualifications for review.

My name is CHIMOTA NKHOMA, male aged 25, holder of NRC 425389/10/1. I graduated at Copperbelt
University with a Bachelor Science in Fisheries and Aquaculture in 2021. I am a faster learner,
physically and mentally strong, fit and very hard working person, able to meet deadlines on time and I
can be a great positive contributor too. I also believe in very good work ethic and I can work very good in
a team, and as an individual.

I worked managing the ponds and in an enclosed fish hatchery at Kriskon Fish Farms and General
Dealers, and KAPASA MAKASA UNVERSITY where most of the parameters in the hatchery were often
controlled and managed. After the collection of Nileoticus Andersonaii eggs from female's mouths in
hapa fishing nets, incubating the yellow colored eggs into the running water pipes bowl for at most 10
days within the hatchery. Then, put them in oxygenated plastics, and every now and then would need to
check and oxygenated the water during transferring or transportating at least every 30 minutes also
depending on the water quality, sizes of fish, density of fish, the weather and volume of the plastic.

Thus far with the knowlegde, experience and skills I have aquired in different fisheries and aquaculture
fields and working environment, I can therefore be able to contribute positively, by thinking critically at
problems and then solve problem, i will always studying and more research and always been updated
over the changing world of fisheries and aquaculture. In addition, apart from growing professionally,
this will also be an opportunity to apply different creativity and inniatives skills that could allow achieve
objectives and goal, that would add more value and profits to the Institution. Hence given the
opportunity to this Pond Worker position at the Institution of NARDC, I will commit and delicate my time
and effort to work and produce positive and desired outcomes, I will work to my best of my ability.
