Mayors Cup 2024
1.1 18 under category - shall be 18 years and below before the opening of
Mayor’s/SK Cup 2024 and a player must be a resident and living/staying in the
Barangay (to which he represents) for no less than six (6) months on/before the
opening of the Mayor's Cup 2024.
1.2 Teams must submit their official line-up on or before July 20, 2024.
1.3 Players violating the ff. Rules stated above will be banned from this tournament.
REMINDER: All players are required to have their waiver signed by their
Parent/Guardian.
2.1 Participating teams may have seventeen (15) players on their official line - up.
2.3 All teams must submit their official line up and waiver on or before July 20, 2024.
2.4 All player/s no waiver is/are not allowed to play. (Waivers are available at Hon.

3. OFFICIAL UNIFORMS
3.1 Strict compliance with prescribed uniforms shall be implemented. Players not
wearing proper uniforms are not allowed to play.
3.2 All teams must wear their official uniform during the opening of Mayor's/SK Cup
2024
3.4 All teams are required to put the three (3) official logos on their respective jerseys.
3.4.1 The official Three (3) logos of the tournament must be printed or shown at the
upper basketball uniform at either part of the said jersey.
4.1 The proper conduct of the game demands full and loyal cooperation of the members
of both teams (Art. 36.1.1 FIBA rules)
4.2.1 Rules of conduct (Art. 37, 38, and 39) of FIBA rules of 2022 shall be
observed by all teams.
4.2.1.1 Fighting is physical interaction (throwing a punch/kick) that
is inappropriate between players and any person permitted to sit
team benches (Art. 39.1). Technical committees and game on the
officials have the final decision for this matter.
4.2.1.2 Player/s caught giving obscene signs/saying inappropriate
words to any game officials. A technical foul will be given for the
first offense and a disqualifying foul for its second offense and will
be suspended for his next game.
4.2.2 NO players are allowed to play under the influence of liquor and if a
member of the team was found positive, he will be automatically banned from the
tournament.
4.2.3 Smoking and bringing of deadly weapons are strictly prohibited in the
vicinity of the COVERED COURT. And if a member of the team was caught, he
will be automatically banned from the tournament.
4.2.4 NO changing of uniforms in the bench at the start of the game. Player/s
caught committing this offense will be penalized by a technical foul.
4.2.5 Only a Coach, an Assistant Coach, a Team Manager and official players are
allowed to sit on the bench during scheduled games. Team/s caught committing this
offense will be penalized by a technical foul.
4.3 Only one person, a coach, if not present, the Asst. Coach/Team Captain of a team
are allowed to stand during games and will be entertained if there are verification and
complaints after a dead ball was granted with a gentleman's manner.
4.4 Any team with two consecutive (2) defaults/forfeitures will be withdrawn to the
tournament.
4.5 A player/coach/team's staff/the allowed team representative who had been given a
disqualifying foul by the game's officials in a certain game will be automatically
suspended on his next game.
4.6 A team or player who walks out while the game is in progress will be given not more
than ten (10) minutes to return, if otherwise, the team will lose the game by default. And
the whole team will be banned in the tournament.
4.8 Players/Coaches/Team's Staff repeating the said offenses above will be banned for
future leagues.
4.9 Coaches/Managers should wear proper attire during games. (Wearing sleeveless,
slippers are not allowed.)
4.10 75% of the team must be present during pre - clinic meeting, if otherwise, the team
will not be allowed to participate in the tournament.
5. COMPLAINTS/PROTEST PROCEDURES
5.1 Protest on the eligibility of players, shall be done in written form and be submitted to
the technical committee 24 hours before the first game of the team under protest.
5.2 Protest regarding the game, the Team Captain of the team shall, no later than 10
minutes after the game, inform the committee that his team is protesting against the
result of the game, and affix his signature in the score sheet. The team shall submit the
protest to the committee in writing no later than one (1) hour after the game.
5.3 The assigned committee will decide the protest within twenty-four (24) hours after
receiving the letter of protest.
5.4 The team under protest, and was given a verdict of guilty, there winning game will
be considered loss.
6.1 fifteen (15) minutes grace period will be given for team completion or appearance
for every game. The non-default/forfeit. completion/appearance of the team shall be
declared
7. GAME FIXING
7.1 Any team who is found to fix the game for its advantage or opponent's advantage
shall be disqualified in the tournament
7.2 Any player who is found using other's identity or using other jersey will be
investigated and he is guilty of his actions he will be suspended depending on the
technical committee's decision.
8.1 The management has the sole authority to postpone a game from its schedule
particularly in the event of natural disaster
8.2 Games called off due to inevitable circumstances will be rescheduled. Schedules
will be given 1 or 2 day/s before the rescheduled games.
8.3 If the game is in progress was stopped, the game shall be continued (resumed) on a
new scheduled date. Players who are not around/present during the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th
quarters of game will not be allowed to play during the rescheduled games.
9. OTHERS
9.1 The FIBA rules of 2022 shall be applied in other cases not specified in the ground
rules.
9.3 Any technical matter not included in the ground rules shall be decided by the
Technical Committee headed by our SK Pederasyon Vice President Hon. Andrei V.
Maravilla.
