Online Interview
An Online Interview for the engagement of a Junior Research Fellow (on contract basis) for a Research
Project in the Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held on 05.07.2024.

Duration of Engagement : One Year (on contract basis) and extendable further for one more year
based on the performance of the candidate and availability of the project
fund.

Name of the sponsoring Agency : SERB INAE, Delhi

Name of Project : “Design and Development of Virtual Reality Application for Traffic Safety
Education in Indian School Going Children”

Qualifications : M.E./M.Tech in (specialization in Transportation/Computer

Engineering) with GATE qualification.

Desirable Experience : Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in

Virtual Reality /Gaming/Traffic Safety.

Consolidated monthly pay : Rs. 31000/- (Rupees Thirty one thousand only) + 18% HRA
(*as per order DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated 26 th June 2023 increased
emolment may be given if this increased salary difference will come as
arrears once it is approved in project budget from SERB INAE)

Age limit : 35 Years on the date of application, with relaxation to

SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.
