AGENDAS
1. Circular Economies

Agenda - The house believes that nationalization of key industries is imperative in order to ensure the
success of circular economies.

2. Ghost Gear and Marine debris

Agenda- The house believes that local efforts are more effective in tackling the issue of Ghost Gear and
Marine Dumping than pseudo-diplomatic efforts such as the International Marine Debris Conference. (The
house promotes paperwork focused more towards harnessing coastal communities to tackle this problem
than nation binding law structuring).

3. Fast Fashion Industries

Agenda- The house believes that the Fast Fashion Industry is the next industrial revolution which will boost
the world economy and potentially generate enough wealth to eliminate poverty.

4. LiFE - Lifestyle for Environment

Agenda- The house believes that in accordance with LiFE, governments should be allowed monitor the life of
their citizens in order to ensure the success of sustainable plans to improve the global condition.
5. Global Industrial Disasters

Agenda- The house believes that it is impossible to create a global testing and approvance body to ensure
quality standards and hazard inspections at corporate MNCs to prevent disasters such as the Bhopal Gas
Tragedy.

6. Climate Change and Education

Agenda- The house believes that the displacement cause by Climate Change provides more perspective to
the victims about the seriousness of this issue than syllabus based learning provided by subsidised education

7. Zero Hunger

Agenda - The house believes that food shortage in third world countries is a by-product of colonialistic greed
and repression of natives, hence first world countries must harbour responsibility and solve this global issue.

8. Journalism

Agenda - Framing an observatory article post viewing the debates, panel discussion and happenings in both
days of the conference, along with an overview of the event.
PROCEDURE OF THE HOUSE
The agendas and the topics will be provided in a neutral way, by which the house will try to discuss two
major topics in the same house. Example for an agenda of discussion could be – “The house states that
economic stability is more suited to the interests of the working class than the environment” For and against
will be provided to the members of the conference on the day of the conference The topic must ensure that
both sides of the house have an equal chance to make arguments, and solve the same thought problem in
different and multiple ways.

The house will mostly be solution oriented where both houses will try to justify their sides of the argument
with real life implications and holistic understanding of the world. The paperwork produced has to be
sophisticated and realistic in nature, where each house is made to realise their arguments in a global way,
and they will try to make world binding statements and state statements in a way that helps us understand
the socio-cultural situation of the world.

The paperwork will follow the guidelines and nature of the document should be similar to the Kyoto Protocol
(for reference). The house will conduct debate in the following way:-
:- Opening Statements
:- Questions and Debate on Opening Statements made by each member
:- Consolidate Paperwork in the way
:- Draft Paper
:- Clause by Clause discussion where the member who has proposed the said clause must justify the reason
for it to stand while the other side of the house questions it.
:- Amendments to Papers
:- Final Resolutions
