Programme overview
Anuभूti (Anubhuti)

Anubhuti is a field-based experiential learning programme exclusively designed for The Somaiya School by the Somaiya Center for
Experiential Learning. Anubhuti (meaning ‘to have a soulful experience’) is a two to seven day immersive learning programme held at
various sites of cultural & natural importance in India. Anubhuti programmes have a mix of activities that involve site-based learning,
interaction with experts, hands-on research with scientists, interaction with community members, and self-reflection.

Somaiya Center for Experiential Learning (SCEL) is thrilled to present ‘Uttarakhand: Explore Beyond the Hills‘ for 10th-grade students of The
Somaiya School! This immersive programme in the Garhwal region offers a unique blend of cultural, natural, and educational experiences.
Students will engage with local traditions, decode the mysteries of the Himalayas, explore sustainable practices, and find serenity in a
Tibetan monastery. Highlights include hiking the pristine Jabarkhet Nature Reserve and participating in a theatre workshop. Join us in
igniting curiosity and creating unforgettable memories with 'Anuभूti, 'Uttarakhand: Explore Beyond the Hills‘!

At The Somaiya School, we have always emphasized Hands-On, Minds-On projects as a core part of
our educational approach. Continuing this tradition, we are excited to integrate experiential learning
into our curriculum, enabling students to explore various aspects of a topic and learn how to think,
not just what to think.

We are thrilled to announce the immersive Anuभूti programme, an unforgettable experience in


Uttarakhand from 4th to 10th November 2024.

About the Destination

This unique opportunity allows students to embark on a journey of discovery through interactive sessions, guided tours, and engaging
discussions with local experts, immersing themselves in the rich cultural and natural heritage of Uttarakhand. Students will be captivated
by the fascinating stories that unfold as they explore this beautiful region.

This brochure provides detailed information about the programme, including an overview of travel and logistics. Please read this
document thoroughly to familiarize yourself and your ward with the programme and understand what to expect.
