 ABSTRACT

A Payroll Management System (PMS) is a software solution designed to

automate and streamline the process of paying employees. It handles various tasks
such as calculating wages, withholding taxes, and distributing payments, ensuring
accuracy and compliance with legal and organizational policies. Key
functionalities include employee data management, payroll calculation, and tax
management, integration with time and attendance systems, payment processing,
reporting, and security. By automating these processes, a PMS reduces manual
effort, minimizes errors, ensures timely payments, and helps organizations adhere
to regulatory requirements, thereby enhancing overall payroll efficiency and
reliability
