PSG College of Arts and Science infrastructure has an eco-friendly environment for the students. PSGCAS has fully air-
conditioned seminar/meeting halls which are fully equipped with modern equipment like projection and sound system which
makes it fully capable to host important academic events, seminars and meetings. PSG College of Arts and Science
infrastructure includes GRD Memorial Auditorium which has a seating capacity of 1200 is a hub for all the cultural activities for

Laboratory - PSG College of Arts and Science has modern laboratories for various departments to support and provide
better practical knowledge to the students. Media laboratory and studio is equipped with the latest technology and equipment
for audio workstation which is widely used in the Music, Film and TV industry. Communication laboratory has been designed
for the students to prepare for the industry environment and learn about the communication and soft skills. A Central
Research Laboratory for the students, scholars from different departments can use modern facilities and sophisticated

Indoor Stadium - Indoor Stadium is a place to organise all sports such as Basketball, Volleyball and Badminton. Stadium
includes two Basketball courts, two volleyball courts, eight Badminton courts and ten rooms for the students. Indoor stadium
has a seating capacity of 3000 people.
Hostel - PSG College of Arts and Science provides hostel facilities for the students, 24 hours of uninterrupted power supply
with good water facilities are also available for the students in the hostels. Hospital service provides medical assistance to the
hostellers, private gyms are also a part of the PSGCAS hostel. All facilities are provided to students of both boys and girls
hostels. Mess facilities are also available for both hostels.

Gym facilities - A fully equipped gym with modern facilities is a part of PSG College of Arts and Science, students can

PSGCAS for consuming solar energy. Bio-Gas plant and wind energy generation has also been set up for providing electricity

The Health Centre of PSG CAS functions in association with PSG Hospitals with limited facilities for the benefit of students
and staff.

Gym

A fully equipped gym with world-class facilities, students have been granted daily access to the gym and can work with other
students as per their customized fitness program to ensure a healthy body and healthy mind. Both men and women trainers
are available to guide the students through fitness and weight management

Library

The library is well stocked and presently has a collection of over 1,20,000 volumes on different subjects. Latest publications
in the fields of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Business Studies, Economics, Humanities, and Social
Sciences are continuously added to the collection to equip the student with a wide range of academic materials. The Library
also subscribes about 225 journals of national and international repute. All Prominent national dailies are also subscribed in
the library. The College Library is fully automated and provides user services through the computer. Library also having Wi-Fi

Sports

Indoor Stadium The indoor stadium is a suitable place to organize all sports - National as well as International Level for games
such as Basketball, Volleyball, and Badminton. It possesses the central area of 80 mts x 28 mts size, the biggest in the
Coimbatore, and can accommodate two Basketball Courts, two Volleyball courts and eight Badminton courts, ten rooms for
participants. The playing area will be made of maple wood Imported wood from USA and 3000 seater state of the art gallery.

An internet facility center ‘’Brahmam” is operating in the campus for all faculty members and students An internet cafe is

PSG College of Arts and Science was founded in 1947 by PSG & Son Charities Trust, PSGCAS is an autonomous college
affiliated with Bharathiar University. PSG College of Arts and Science is also popularly known as PSGCAS Coimbatore is also
recognised as ‘A’ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), also recognised as “College with

PSG College of Arts and Science admissions are offered in the UG and PG programmes through merit-based except for MSW
and MA (Journalism and Mass Communication) courses as admission to these courses will be based on an entrance
examination conducted by PSGCAS. Students who are interested in taking admission to PSGCAS will have to register online
on PSG College of Arts and Science admission portal. After registration, the PSG College of Arts and Science admission
process will commence, students have to fill up all the necessary details along with required documents for the courses they
are opting for PSGCAS admission in the application form. The eligibility and fees will vary from course to course for both UG
and PG programmes.

PSGCAS Admission through merit-based

Students are required to fill up PSGCAS application form, the form will include all the necessary details such personal
information, educational details along with the necessary documents for the opted course by the students.

Students who are eligible for more than one course in the UG/PG programme or PG diploma course are required to submit
a separate application form for each course.

Merit-list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in 10+2 or the aggregate marks for UG programme and graduation
marks will be considered for admission to PG programmes.

Once the merit-list is uploaded for each course, it is mandatory for the students to take part in the PSGCAS counselling
process for the admissions.

The final admission in PSG College of Arts and Science will be based on the merit-list for the courses in both UG/PG
programmes, document verification of the student, performance in the PSGCAS counselling process and fee payment for
the relevant courses students have applied for.

PSGCAS Admission through entrance examination

It is mandatory for students to fill up PSGCAS application form with all the necessary details such as personal information,

An entrance examination will be conducted by the PSGCAS for the courses MSW and MA (Journalism and Mass
