is also known as the rate of change of displacement with
respect to time.

5. Acceleration is when you are going one speed and then


you go faster. It is also known as the rate of change of
velocity with respect to time.

6. Gradient is an increase or decrease in the magnitude of a


property observed in passing from one point or moment to
another. The unit of gradient is always the vertical axis unit
divided by the horizontal axis unit.

7. THE GRADIENT OF A DISPLACEMENT-TIME GRAPH GIVES THE


VELOCITY OF THE OBJECT.
