Method:
It is important to mention that the use of multimethod is crucial for an effective
development of the class. First, the teacher begging with the grammatical translation
method, that is because the level of the students they need to know the translation of
every word while teacher’s speech. After that, audio lingual method is used by using a
video and repeating the pronunciation. Also the TPR is used in order to make the class
moving. In this method, the students follow instructions even in English, without using
the mother tongue all the time that is and advantage of this method with children,
because they can deduce the meaning of phrases thanks to the movement examples.
On the other hand, one of the approaches that is recommended for teaching content
through FL is the task-based approach. The task represents a unit of work in which the
language is used for a specific communicative purpose (related to what the speakers
do with the language in relation to the topic being worked on) in order to achieve a
result or obtain a goal. Target. Generally, the task is preceded by pre-tasks (or
preparatory tasks, enabling or scaffolding tasks), which are activities focused on
aspects of the language or the content that the students will need to use to carry out
the final task and that are trained to carry it out. Normally, the final task consists of a
'real' product (an interview, an electronic presentation, a tourist brochure, a video of the
center's facilities, instructions for operating a certain device, a poster with healthy

Activities:
The teacher shows a video to the class about personal presentation. The video gets
students’ attention since it is like a program they usually see on TV. The video also
includes subtitles, but the teacher let the students watch the full video without any pause,
then, after the video she can go further into the topic.

The teacher uses the computer to play a game. Click play and listen to a sentence. Drag
and drop the correct words to fill in the blank spaces below. If you are correct, the monkey
gets a banana. Help the monkey get a banana by getting the sentences right!

The teacher handles a printed worksheet to each student, they must complete using their
personal information and color the copy. The teacher says the color that the students
should use to color each object or picture, that to practice colors seen on previews
lessons.
The teacher tells to the students the meaning of the words they do not know, for them to
complete the information. In the worksheet students should include personal information
like name, age, place where they live, movie, pet, activities they like…etc.

In this activity students have a printed worksheet in which they can practice numbers,
colors and personal information at the same time. First, they have to color each number
according to the instructions. After coloring each number, they have to complete some
sentences about personal information of someone, according to the sentence, they choose
a word from a box. I.e. my name is____________, then they must choose the only
person’s name in the box. Same thing with the age, city, favorite color.

The teacher closes the lesson with a video about personal information. The video is in
both languages Spanish and English, so students can understand better the whole video.
The aim is to finish the class given a summary of the topic. While watching the video the
educator pauses the video and ask some questions to the students, to practice at the
same time of watching. For instance, if the video gives a question like: what is your first
name? and also the answer: my first name is Jack! Then the teacher can choose a student
and ask: what is your first name.
