ENGINE CONTROL If the operation is successful, a message will

– Main relay
– Wiring and connections, refer to the appro-
priate wiring diagram.

Testing the Continuity of ECM Ground

Installing the ECM
The installation is the reverse of the removal pro-
cedure. However, pay attention to the following.
1. Secure the ECM to its support.
3. Validate the following:
Tightening Torque – A p p l i c a t i o n V e r s i o n : 21.1.0 or newer
6.5 ± 0.5 Nm – O D X V e r s i o n : 21.31.0 or newer
ECM screws (58 ± 4 lbf-in) – O T X V e r s i o n : 21.36.0 or newer
– E D B D u m p V e r s i o n : 21.18.0 or newer
– W o r k s p a c e V e r s i o n : 21.20.0 or newer
2. Reconnect ECM connector(s).

must be reset as new within 14 days from the
last programming. Afterwards, it will not be

Reset the ECM as a Service Part
1. Connect the vehicle to the BRP diagnostic soft-
ware (BUDS2).
2. In BUDS2, go to:
