Cyclone Season – Cyclone Information (Emergency Contacts)

As most of you are aware a Tropical Cyclone Advice has been issued for the Townsville region. A Watch
Zone is currently in place from Innisfail to Sarina.

In preparation for cyclone and emergency disasters we recommend the following:

This link will have all the checklists, contact numbers that you will need to assist in preparing for an
emergency.
• Have a list of your essential contractors (plumber, electrician) contact details, should you need to contact
them after an event.
• Ensuring all lose items around the property are secured, this includes but not limited to bins.
• Remove shade sails.

Townville City Council has organised sand at the following locations:
