Respected Governor:

Good day. I am AICEL GWEN MARTIRES, a student at NORTHERN QUEZON COLLEGE

INCORPORATED (NQCI) who is currently in the 1st year college in the Bachelor of Business

Administration Major in Human Resources course. I would like to apply for the scholarship you

are awarding to help me continue my studies.

As a student, I always work hard to maintain high grades. I currently have an average of 86 in the

1st sem and 90 in the 2nd sem with a general average of 88, and I am also active in various

extracurricular activities such as participating in the volleyball game. Apart from this, I also have

experiences in leadership as the president and secretary of our class, where I learned the

importance of dedication and unity.

My family is not that rich and we are going through financial challenges. This scholarship will be

of great help so that I can continue my studies without thinking about school expenses. Your

support will give me a greater chance to graduate and reach my dreams of helping my family and

our community.

Ma’am, I know that you already received and continuously receiving numerous applications for

this scholarship but I am still hoping that you will consider my application and allow me to fulfill

my dreams. Desperately speaking but I badly need this help for I can help my papa and my four

younger sisters and one brother. I am aware that my father is now facing troublesome in sending

me to college that is why I want to lessen his worries. To be a Financial Analyst or Statistician

someday means so much to me but my family is indeed my more than everything. I am looking
