Request for Information

I refer to your email of 24 June 2024, requesting information on a breakdown of staff

numbers for each department at Environment Canterbury and provide numbers for
common job titles such as 'compliance officer', 'legal advisor', etc rather than a generic
number of all staff within a department.

Please find attached this information by both department and job titles.

This information is as at 30 June 2024, and is based on headcount not full-time

equivalent (FTE). This means that not all roles are full-time, and subsequently (in some
cases), more than one person may be employed to make up the total FTE allocation
for a role.

Finally, please note that this information does not reflect the changes relating to the
recently announced realignment within our Operations department.

You will be aware that if you are not satisfied with this response, you can refer this
matter to the Office of the Ombudsman under s27 (3) of the LGOIMA.
