Day 4. Sept. 13 Presentation Preparation
Day 5: Sept 16-17 Presentation Delivery:

GRASPS
GOAL: Students will create a proposal and presentation
entitled "Creating a Sustainable Community." The aim is to
research sustainable practices and renewable energy
sources and analyze the impact of urban development on
the environment. They will design a visual aid to support
their oral presentation.
ROLE: Students will act as urban planners and
environmental consultants tasked with proposing a
sustainable community model to a city council.
AUDIENCE: The primary audience will be a panel of city
council members, environmentalists, and community
stakeholders who will evaluate the feasibility and impact of
the proposed sustainable community.
PT NARRATIVE
The city council is planning to develop a new urban
area and seeks innovative and sustainable proposals to
ensure the community thrives while minimizing
environmental impact. As urban planners and
environmental consultants tasked with proposing a
sustainable community model to a city council, you will
create a detailed proposal that outlines sustainable
practices and renewable energy sources, as well as the
environmental impact of urban development. You will
present your proposal and illustrate key points to a panel
of city council members, environmentalists, and community
stakeholders who will evaluate the feasibility and impact of
the proposed sustainable community.

SITUATION: The city council is planning to develop a new

researched, practical, and creative solutions.

PRODUCT:
Students will create a detailed proposal and deliver an oral
presentation. The proposal will outline sustainable practices
and renewable energy sources, as well as the
environmental impact of urban development. The
presentation will be supported by a visual aid (e.g., a
poster, slideshow, or infographic) to illustrate key points.
