System Introduction
EASYCAT metal V-slot slotting machine numerical control system is supporting in
the slotting machine, the system can let users according to their own needs to input
processing data, and then control the machine automatic processing products. This
software has learned a lot about the operation habits of operators, made the system
operation interface simple and human, and fully understood the mechanical structure,
made the machine run smoothly and efficiently, reduced the failure rate, and created
higher value for customers

2. Main functions
2.1 Automatic Input
Automatic input is the customer to achieve automatic processing of the workpiece
window, this screen in the pursuit of simplicity but also strive to achieve all
programming data on a page display, do at a glance

Set plate length: Set the length of the workpiece to be machined

Set plate width: set the width of the workpiece to be processed, the plate

width is set to be greater than 0, the calculation base of the slot distance is based on
the plate width, and the excess material is left at the edge of the press foot. The plate
width is set to 0, and the corresponding calculation basis is to start at the foot side,
and the excess material is left on the other side
Set plate thickness: Set the thickness of the workpiece to be machined
Set small thread: set the groove depth of the marking line. When the groove

depth of the current line is less than the small thread, it will be displayed in gray
automatically. Single group cycle ends with the small thread
Total slot spacing: Displays the maximum plate width that should correspond

to the current input data


Processing files: 8 groups of temporary files are reserved. Customers can input the
next data to be processed or store common processing data when the machine is
running, which is convenient to call directly
Processing mode: standard, outside ruler, inside ruler three processing mode
1. the standard mode is not considering the plate thickness, the input data is processed
data
2. In the outer ruler mode, customers input data according to the outer size, and the
system will automatically deduct the extra size when running
3. In the inner scale mode, customers input data according to the inner size, and the
system will automatically add the smaller size when running
Total number of slots: Total number of slots

Large cycle: the total number of process cycles

Fixed point: this function is not used in the gantry slotting machine

Slot distance: Indicates the relative distance between two slots.

Slot depth: Indicates the depth to be gouged in the current slot

Cycle: the number of grooves to be planed with the same distance and
depth. It can also be set to 0, the number of loops in the current row is set to non-0,
and when the number of loops below it is set to 0, they are executed as a group of
loops, whose total number of loops is the number of loops in the non-0 row above

: the slot to plane may be in the front may be in the back, this place
for customers to choose, compile to automatic operation after the first positive data,
and then perform the reverse data, do a programming, the whole processing out
Click "slot distance" "Slot depth", the replacement window will pop up, you can batch
change

data new: clear the internal data of the current table

Save: Click Save will pop up save window, you can edit the current data
on the name
Save, support Chinese name save

Open: Click open to pop out of the call directory, you can choose the data
to call,supports search by name

Add: After selecting a row, the background of the current row will be
displayed in yellow. Click Insert row to insert and copy the data of the current
row,and the data of the following rows will be automatically moved down

Delete: After selecting a row,the background of the current row willbe


displayed in yellow. Click Delete row to delete the current row, andthe dataof the
following rows will be automatically moved upward

Knife parameter: Click knife parameter to enter the knife parameter


setting screen

Small silk: click small silk in the depth of the tank, it will automat-ically
input the set value of small silk

Start drawing: workpiece image can be drawn manually

End drawing: after drawing, the process steps will appear automatically.
Users can start operation by changing the slot spacing and slot depth

Redraw: Start drawing the artifact image again

2.2 Knife parameter screen


The knife parameter screen is based on the process requirements of the customer, the
cutting amount and feeding speed of the groove depth are limited each time. After the
data in the first line is changed, the system will automatically refresh all the knife
parameters according to the phase dividing factor and the maximum knife depth. One
groove can dig up to 20 knives
2.3 Automatic Operation
Automatic operation is to compile the data in the automatic input into the actual
running data of the machine. When the data input is wrong, it will automatically jump
to the programming screen and prompt error message

Board length, board width, board thickness is the display of automatic input input data
Speed: Select the speed regulating hand wheel, you can change the current

running speed, the minimum is 0, the maximum is 100


Slot number: The number of current slots is displayed in the front, and the

number of total slots is displayed in the back. Click Job-hopping, the job-hopping
window will pop up, and you can enter the slot number to jump to

Times: the number of times that the current slot needs to be planed. The
number of times that the slot has been planed is displayed in the front and the total
number of times is displayed in the back
Output: The front display is the number of accumulated slots and the back

display is the number of accumulated meters. Click "Clear" to clear the number of
accumulated slots and meters
In the standby state, click on the row, the background color of the row becomes
yellow, and the run starts with the current row

Oil pump, fixed presser foot, movable presser

foot: it can be opened and closed in standby state

Cooling: can be opened and closed at any time, the actual cooling liquid

spray is in the machine forward

Change tool: click change tool, move tool holder to set change tool

position

One-key back to origin: Click full back to original to open the oil pump.

The original action is to return to Z axis first, then X axis, then Y axis
Prepare: Click Prepare, Y axis goes to the position to be processed and

stops, and the user confirms whether the actual position is correct

Start: click start, the machine will run automatically, when there is a fault

in the following fault bar prompt

Pause: Click stop and the machine will stop. After a delay of 1 second, Z

axis will rise to the starting position and X will return to the starting position

2.4 Manual Mode


Manual mode is used for machine debugging, in this screen can let each shaft
manually, back to the original

The function and operation of oil pump, movable press foot, fixed press foot, one key
back to the origin, tool change and automatic input are the same
High speed: point down high speed, manual forward and backward to
run at high speed

Y-axis linkage: the Y-axis linkage under the point. When axis Y1 or Y2
moves manually, the other axis will follow

Single action: Click the single action, the function of the manual
forward and back buttons is changed to move forward and backward single action
distance

Forced manual: when the system prompts "Please return to the original
one key", manual forward and backward cannot be operated, you must press Force to
move note: the current position of the axis is not correct, so you must pay attention to
the forced operation

2.5 Parameter Screen


The parameters screen includes basic parameters, advanced parameters, compensation
parameters and Chinese and English switching

2.5.1 Basic Parameters


The basic parameters are the parameters that the customer will change frequently and
will not cause the machine to fail to run properly due to improper changes
Set the origin position of X axis: the reference position of X axis is set at the position
of all the surface of the tool rest. Set the origin position of Y1 axis: the reference
position of Y1 axis is at the position of the fixing clip
Set the origin position of axis Y2: the same as the reference position of axis Y1. Set
the origin position of axis Z: The reference position of axis Z. Set the grooving speed
of axis X on the table
Set X axis return speed: X axis automatic return speed
Set z-axis rising Height: Set the z-axis rising position during automatic planing, which
is generally set to be the same as "Set z-axis origin position"
Set the advance distance under Z axis: Set the advance distance of cutting on Z axis
when X axis returns note: The larger this parameter is, the more advance the cutting
on Z axis is
Movable clip clamping time: the clamping time of movable clip, the X axis can be
moved only after the movable clip is tightened
Release time of movable clip: the release time of movable clip. Y axis can be moved
only after the movable clip is released
Set tool changing position of Y-axis: The tool changing button in manual mode and
automatic operation corresponds to the moving position of Y-axis
Set one-way positioning distance: one-way positioning can eliminate the reverse
clearance of machinery, one-way positioning distance should be greater than the
possible mechanical clearance
Unidirectional location: 0 indicates that unidirectional location is disabled, and 1
indicates that unidirectional location is enabled

2.5.2 Advanced Parameters


The parameters in advanced parameters are related to the machine running accuracy
and smoothness, so the permission is higher than the basic parameters, non-
professionals are prohibited to modify

Manual fast: in manual operation, select high speed, manual forward and backward at
manual fast speed
Manual slow speed: in manual operation, high speed is not selected, and manual
forward and backward operation is carried out at manual slow speed
Velocity of return to origin: velocity at which the axis approaches the origin when the
axis returns to origin
Fixed origin velocity: the velocity of backward departure from the origin after hitting
the origin switch during axial return
Acceleration time: the time when the axis increases from the speed 0 to the set speed.
The larger this value is, the larger the acceleration distance is, and the smoother the
acceleration is
Deceleration time: the time when the axis decreases from the set speed to the speed 0.
The larger the value is, the larger the deceleration distance is, and the smoother the
deceleration will be
Resolution pulse: the number of pulses in one rotation of the shaft, determined by the
parameters of the servo motor
Resolution lead: the distance corresponding to one rotation of the shaft, as determined
by mechanical parameters
Maximum soft limit: indicates the maximum position to which the shaft can move.
Minimum soft limit: indicates the minimum position to which the shaft can move

2.5.3 Compensation Parameters


The compensation parameter is the compensation for the working platform, the frame
may have a small deformation over a long time, the compensation parameter can
compensate the deformation of the frame through the system
The default value starts at position 0. The input position on the first line represents the
distance from 0 to the current input position. The input position on the second line
represents the distance from the input position on the first line to the current input
position

2.5.4 Setting Parameters


Customers can select models and configurations based on different machines on this
interface.

3. Status notification
Status: running status, data status, and fault information

3.1 Operating Status


Standby: The current machine does not have any command, is in the static state
starting: the machine is running automatically according to the input data
Stopping: Press the stop button to stop the machine first and then return to the initial
position. Emergency stop: press the emergency stop button to stop the machine
completely

3.2 Data Status


Data null: No input of programming data
If the total slot width is too large, the total width of the input data cannot be greater
than the maximum value on the Y axis. If the first slot width is too small, the
minimum slot depth in the first row cannot be smaller than the minimum slot depth in
the Y axis greater than the total knife depth: The slot depth in the current row cannot
be greater than the total knife depth
Groove depth setting is too large: the groove depth of the current line should not be
less than the minimum Z axis

3.3 Fault Information


Emergency stop: The emergency stop button is not pulled up. After the button is
pulled up, the fault information is cleared
Please go back to the original: After the system restarts after power failure, it will
prompt you to go back to the original with one key. Start the oil pump. Click one key
to go back to the origin in automatic operation or manual operation
Oil pump failure: oil pump thermal relay failure, check whether the oil pump motor
problem or thermal relay problem, fault information will be cleared after the thermal
relay is disconnected
Error of origin of X-axis: when the current position of X-axis is greater than 10mm, it
will indicate this fault if the X-axis origin signal is encountered. Check whether the
X-axis origin switch is correct or the encoder counts incorrectly. Press the stop button
to clear this fault information
X-axis encoder disconnection: if the encoder fails to count normally, check whether
the current value of X-axis is normal on the manual screen and press the stop button
to clear the fault information
X-axis encoder reversal: when the counting direction and running direction of the
encoder are detected to be inconsistent, connect A and B of the encoder in reverse
direction and press the stop button to clear the fault information
HMI communication is abnormal: Communication data is lost. Check whether the
communication cable between the upper computer and the controller is in good
contact. Press the stop button to clear the fault information
Shaft fault: check the shaft drive fault information code, according to the shaft drive
manual troubleshooting, press the stop button can also clear the shaft drive fault, shaft
drive no fault after the fault information cleared
Axis communication fault: the axis of the system is controlled by communication. If
the controller fails to receive the axis signal, a communication fault will be reported.
Check whether the communication line is in good contact and whether the axis
parameters are set correctly
Shaft limit: if the current position of the shaft is less than the minimum limit in the
system parameter, the minimum limit of the shaft will be displayed. If the current
position of the shaft is greater than the maximum limit, the maximum limit of the
shaft will be displayed. The fault information is cleared when the current position is
within the limit
