1. CONDITIONS OF GUARANTEE

VAV Technology guarantees its Black Dragon machines against functional and manufacturing
defects during the following period;

 12 months from the invoice date.

The warranty does not include optical parts (lenses, mirrors, and glass parts), keyboard, the
touch screen, control buttons and the plexiglasses. A full price list of these parts is available
upon request from VAV Technology After Sales Service.

1.1 The Guarantee Includes

- The substitutions or repair of faulty parts by our authorised technical service.

- The transport cost of the return of faulty parts to the manufacturer provided the chosen
mode of transport and shipper has been accepted in writing by VAV Technology.

1.2 The Guarantee Does Not Include

- The cost of travel, stay, and expenses of our authorised technical service personnel.

- The transportation and any customs clearance costs derived from the shipment of a
repaired or replacement part to the client.

- The cost of repairation of the damaged parts during transit due to incorrect packaging on
the client’s part.

- Any customs costs or expenses if applicable during the return of faulty parts.

- The warranty does not include optical parts (lenses, mirrors, and glass parts), keyboard,
the touch screen, control buttons and the plexiglasses.

This guarantee will be valid provided the working, maintenance, cleanliness and installation
conditions specified by VAV Technology are followed but shall be invalid if any problems or
faults occur due to negligence, bad manipulation, and lack of care or having exceeded the
functional limits of the machine. Damage caused by fire, freezing, accident, wars, natural
disasters, terrorism or other causes beyond human control.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

It is strongly recommended that all personnel involved in the installation, operation or


maintenance of the machine, has to read this manual and understand its content.

2.1 Precautions During Transportation


1. When transporting the machine with a crane or a forklift, never support the machine
manually
2. Follow the “Unloading Procedure” steps from the container.
3. During the transportation, stay out from under the lifted machine.
4. Since the machine is composed of precision parts, be careful not to apply excessive
shocks or vibrations to the machine during transportation.
5. To carry out smooth and safe installation, remove all obstacles before installing the
machine.
6. When transporting the machine:
a. Keep the ambient temperature within the range of 15°C – 35°C.
b. Keep the relative humidity within the range of 35% - 80%.
c. Keep free from excessively large shock and vibration.

2.2 Precautions During Installation


1. Ambient temperature within the range of 15°C – 30°C.
2. Humidity within the range of 35% - 80%.
3. Free from dust, smoke, water, oil, etc.
4. Free from flammable and / or corrosive liquid and gas.
5. Free from excessively large shock and vibration.
6. Free from electrical noise interference.
7. Place the machine where power is supplied and other preparations are done within
specification.
8. Place the machine where the voltage difference between neutral and ground must be
lower than 2 Volts.
9. Do not connect the primary power until connections between all of connections.
10. Make sure that all water inlet and outlet from chiller to laser head right position.
11. Make sure that the laser machine grounded 10 mm cross ground line.
12. Pay attention to warning labels sticked on the machine.
13. The customer is responsible to provide at least 6 kg one refurbished HCFC gas
fire extinguisher for each laser machine to the area where the laser machines will
be located.
14. Laser machine operators and helper must wear laser protection glasses during
operating the machine.

3. UNLOADING PROCEDURE OF THE MACHINE FROM THE 40’
HC

Warning
1) It is very important to carry out the inspection of the interior of the packaging within 24
hours of receptions, because if any damage was detected, the time is in which any complaint
to the insurance company can be made is limited.

2) If any damages can be seen by visual control, please contact with VAV Technology and
your internal insurance company as soon as possible.

3) Please make sure that your customs office personnel has to guide your government
customs personnel during the container check. Before closing the container, they have to
check that all of the spanzets are tight again in like its original form.

3.2 General Layout

The layout in the container must be as shown in the figure. You can see the 2 main groups
in the container.

3.3 Removing The Spanzets

Spanzet is used to fix the device for transportation safety. Please remove all spanzets
carefully. the device will come to naught after spanzets are removed.

3.4 Chiller Unloading

Use minimum 3 tons capacity forklift for unloading process.

3.5 Laser Unit Unloading

Pull the main unit to the door of the container. Unload it by forklift as shown in the figure.
Only remove the main laser unit as shown in the figure. Do not pull from the pallet.

3.6 Main Body Unloading

Wheels must touch the ground as shown in the figure. All bolts of the wheel's bracket must
be their slot. (If available)

Pull Main Body using your hand to the door of the container or truck. Lift the Main Body 5
cm from the ground of the container by forklift.

During carrying and unloading the Main Body, the forklift operator must be very slow and
careful.

3.1 Unloading the Sliding Table Unit

Unload the sliding table units using by a forklift as it shown in the figure above.

4. INSTALLATIONS REQUIREMENTS
The customer is responsible to provide all requirements specified in the tables
below:

1. Electrical Requirements:
Nominal Power: 10 kW
Electrical Consumption: 380 VAC (3 Phase+Earth) 32A, 50 Hz
Cable Diameter: 4mm for a maximum distance of 10 m.
Breaker : 40 A (3 Phase)
RCD Main swich: 50 A (3 Phase), 300mA

5.2 Chiller Fan Connection

There is one fan on the chiller’s top side that provides the air circulation around the
condenser of the chiller. Condenser increases the air temperature flows around it therefore
hot air leaves the condenser should be released out of environment. The picture below show
the chiller fan’s air connection.

Warning
CHILLER MUST BE LOCATED AS CLOSED AS TO THE LASER MACHINE AND
THE BACK SIDE (WATER INLET & OUTLET SIDE) MUST LOOK AT TO THE
WALL.

9. SUCTION FAN SYSTEM

Our laser machine has elastic 300mm diametered pipe connection. In below figure, circle
figures are demonstrating the point that the customer has to arrange their factory suction
system. Factory suction pipes, fans and also the pipe adaptor arrangement are under the
customer’s responsiblity.

There are two suction fan connections available in your Black Dragon laser machine. Both of
suction fan connections are located rear side (picture is shown as above ). Suction fan
capacity must be sufficient level otherwise your Black Dragon machine will be affected from
smoke, dust etc. It is suggested to use two fans with capacity of 6000m3/hr per fan or one
suction fan with capacity of 13000m3/hr.

IMPORTANT: Suction fan system must be at least 13.000 m3/hr.
