‭September 2024 here at YWAM London Urban Key has been accepted!‬

‭ e are very excited about you joining us for what we believe will be a significant time in your‬

‭journey with the Lord. London is one of the most cosmopolitan and multicultural cities in the‬
‭world, having more than 300 languages and cultures represented. As we have been praying we‬
‭have felt the Lord’s excitement about bringing people to London in preparation, then launching‬
‭them into their destiny with more clarity and determination to fight for the things of His Kingdom!‬

‭ e realise that it can take a while to settle into a new schedule and new challenges living in‬

‭community, so please know that we are here to help in any way we can.‬

‭FINANCES‬

T‭ his acceptance is on the condition that you have the necessary financial support to pay your‬
‭school fees. Obviously we all walk in faith depending upon the Lord for provision in everything.‬
‭Generally, we encourage you to first pay a deposit of £500 upon receipt of this letter to reserve‬
‭your place, and the Lecture Phase fee of £3,500 on arrival or soon after. It would be great if you‬
‭could let us know where you are with your support raising so we can stand with you in prayer and‬
‭action to raise any lacking funds.‬

‭ACCOMMODATION‬

Y‭ ou will be staying at the base in North-West London with staff and students alike. Each room can‬
‭have between 2-10 people depending on the space. We encourage you to pack lightly for your‬
‭time in London since you will have a bunk bed, shelf near your bed, and one small wardrobe.‬

‭MEALS‬

T‭ he school fees you pay will cover 3 meals a day. You will need to pay for any extra food that you‬
‭desire. For breakfast we provide cereal and toast. For lunch and dinner we will prepare full hot‬
‭meals. The exception to this is if we have activities such as evangelism, etc. outside of the house. In‬
‭those cases a pack lunch will be prepared.‬

‭POLICE CHECK‬

‭ s an organisation that works with children and vulnerable adults it is required by law that all that‬

‭are coming to work and train with us have the necessary police checks before participating in any‬
‭outreach work. Please follow the directions below to properly obtain this document.‬

I‭ f you are currently a resident outside of the UK:‬

‭We require a national police check from your home country. Please check how long this might take‬
‭because some nations might take longer than others, so it is important to make sure that this‬
‭wouldn’t delay the application process.‬

I‭ f you are from the USA or Canada:‬

‭A helpful link for you is:‬‭www.acufax-us.com‬‭. The‬‭cost is around $25 or $39 Canadian.‬

‭They have completed many police checks for us at YWAM in the UK and know us well. Just include‬
‭the fact that you are working with YWAM in your request.‬

‭VISA‬

Y‭ ou might need a visa to enter the UK, and if so, before you can begin the process of applying for‬
‭your visa we will have to issue you a Certificate of Sponsorship, and separate from this letter you‬
‭would receive information on which visa to apply for, how to apply, and the letter of guarantee‬
‭(CoS) that you would need to send in with your visa application. Do not book any flights until you‬
‭have received the confirmation of a visa being issued to you and you have received your passport‬
‭back in the post, just in case there are any issues. If you have any questions please feel free to‬
