7. OFFSHORE MARINE CONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT

This section of the Manual will cover the following two (2) topics:

7.1 NEW MARINE VESSEL AND MANNING CONTRACTS

7.2 VESSEL SUBSTITUTIONS

7.1 NEW MARINE VESSEL AND MANNING CONTRACTS

7.1.1 New Long Form Contracts (LFCs), Mid Form Contracts (MFCs), Short Form Contracts
(SFCs) and Release Purchase Orders and Manning Contracts

7.1.1.1 The Company Representative will coordinate with the Contractor following the
Contract Handover from Marine Technical Services Division (MTSD) to
determine the estimated time of arrival (ETA) of a new contract vessel, or the
start-up of a new manning contract.

7.1.1.2 The Company Representative will notify the Marine Quality Assurance &
Compliance Unit (QA&CU) to tentatively schedule the on hire inspection. This
notification will include the Contract Number, Vessel Name and ETA.

7.1.1.3 QA&CU will request Vessels Acceptance Team (VAT) the following copies of
the Contract specifications:

For Full Charter Contracts (LFCs),

a. Vessel Data Sheet, Attachment I to Schedule ‘B’ (applies only for F/C
Contracts).
b. Vessel Minimum Specifications, Attachment III to Schedule ‘B’ (applies only
for F/C Contracts).
c. Contract Minimum acceptance crew specifications, Attachment IV to
Schedule ‘B’ (applies for F/C and Manning Contracts).

For SFCs, MFCs and RPOs,

a. Vessel Data Sheet

b. Basic Marine Vessel Specifications and Requirements (BMVS&R)
