authorized signatory. It should mention all the details about visit / Detailed schedule
4 of your business meetings (ONLY for stays over 30 days)
Cover Letter from Employer on letterhead addressed to the‘Consulate General of
Germany, Mumbai’giving all the details about the business trip. Letter to be stamped &
5 signed by authorized signatory
Employer Documents
 Company Registration document (Certificate of Incorporation/MOA etc.)
 Lastest Company Bank Statement for last 6 months with bank stamp & sign on each page.
6  Company ITR for Last 3 Years
Latest 6 months updated personal bank statement with bank stamp & signature on
7 each page
Personal ITR copy for last 3 years. If self employed Personal & Company ITR for last 3
8 years.
If Going on Training Original No objection letter from employer on business letter
head with seal and sign , Consent letter from “Bundesagentur für Arbeit” (Federal
Employment Agency / ZAV), if applicable & Proof of qualification (diploma, academic
9 degree certificate or marksheets)
If Self Employed Business Registration Document lisk GST/MOA/AAO/Partnership
Deep/Shop Act in English along with Current Account statement for last 6 months with
10 bank stamp & sign.
Declaration letter if you are unable to provide any document or wish to give any
explanation. If you have done Biometrics earlier, then letter required statingthe same
11 along with an authority letter
12 Return Flight Tickets
13 Confirmed hotel bookings with applicant name mentioned in the reservation

14 coverage of 30,000/- Euros

15 Last 3 months salary slips.

If the applicant is traveling for training or to attend workshops then appointment

Important Information:
Business visa application is applicable in case you are travelling for business purposes. This visa is given
for travel period up to 90 days.

The European Union has introduced the Biometric system (Fingerprints & Digital Photo)to apply for all
Schengen country visas since 2ndNovember 2015 & all applicants have to visit respective
facilitationcentre of Embassy/Consulate for the same.

This biometric data will be valid for a period of 5 years. The applicantis not required to give any
biometric again while applying for any Schengen country for the said period. (Subject to change as per
Consulate/Embassy guidelines)

Following applicants are exempted from biometrics:

• Children under 12 years of age
• Applicants for whom the collection of fingerprints is physically impossible
• Sovereigns and other senior members of a royal family, Heads of State and members of the national
Governments (with their official delegations and spouses) if they travel for official purposes
